Millennials as Dictionary Users: A Study of Dictionary Use Habits of Serbian EFL Students

The article addresses the use of dictionaries among new millennium generation English as a foreign language (EFL) undergraduates. Applying mixed-method approach (a questionnaire and interviews), study examines frequency dictionary use, types used, activities initiating consultation, information searched for, problems faced in using dictionaries. findings suggest that participants are most fond bilingual online them mostly for looking up meaning unknown words. They also show despite being high consumers technology, do not benefit much from dictionaries, they neglect entry information. qualitative data reveal perceive various digital tools questionable quality Overall, sheds light on characteristic behavior EFL learners regarding their points to necessity developing competence realm use.
